I was constantly thinking about Ava Max's Barbie song while painting this. "Life is like a runway and you're the designer". This is what I want for my girls - a sentiment I am sure is shared by most mums.  Mia is just about to start high school in this composition - this is a challenging but also exciting time for kids in Australia as they get to choose which subjects they take a school for the first time - and in a way the first steps up on to the runway.

Other info: This work is painted on a professionally prepared board, sealed on all sides with Landridge clear gesso. It is ready to hang.
